The manufacturing sector in Westchester and Putnam Counties is a powerful force driving the growth of the region’s economy. Its global reach brings investment and cash into the region from all over the globe while its high tech nature provides high wage jobs with excellent benefits. Its large capital requirements lead to substantial long term investments in our communities. Westchester and Putnam Counties are home to leading firms in the Pharmaceutical, Solar, Bio-Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Computer & Technology, and Telecommunications Industries, all of which offer exciting careers for individuals who possess the right talents and skills.

The Westchester-Putnam One Stop Employment Center, in partnership with Fenbar Precision Machinists and the Council of Industry (the manufacturers association of the Hudson Valley) are leading the Advanced Manufacturing Sector Partnership. The Manufacturing Sector Partners work with area employers to identify workforce needs and training programs designed to meet the needs of manufacturers - today, and in the future.
