WPCCN and Indeed Team Up to Empower Job Seekers
The Westchester-Putnam Career Center Network (WPCCN) has partnered with Indeed to expand access to high-quality job search resources through the Job Search Academy, a free virtual program designed to support job seekers at every stage of their career journey.
Through this collaboration, WPCCN is offering a wide range of interactive webinars and workshops that equip participants with the tools and confidence needed to navigate today’s competitive job market. The Job Search Academy focuses on five essential areas of the job search process:

Creating a strong, tailored resume that highlights your skills, experience, and achievements.
2. Job Search Strategy
Learning how to effectively search for jobs, use filters, and target the right opportunities.
3. Networking
Building and leveraging professional connections to uncover opportunities and gain referrals.

Preparing for interviews, answering common questions, and presenting yourself with confidence.
5. Personal Branding & Online Presence
Optimizing your online profiles (like Indeed and LinkedIn) to stand out to employers.
Together, these five areas are designed to give job seekers a structured, end-to-end approach—so they’re applying for jobs strategically and effectively.
