Draft Local Plan for July 2017 - June 2021
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA), requires local workforce boards, such as the WPWDB to develop strategic plans outlining how it intends to carry out WIOA policies. Our draft plan, which encompasses the next three years, outlines procedures and activities that we believe will address workforce issues and solutions to create and strength partnerships to best serve businesses, the unemployed, the under-employed, and especially, individuals and populations which are underserved in this region.
