The One-Stop Employment Center provides financial support to job-seekers to participate in job training programs that enable them to develop skills needed in today's workplace. Based on the availability of funding and the priority of service policy, One-Stop may issue Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) to pay training cost for eligible candidates to pursue training only with approved training providers.
The ITA is a voucher that authorizes the training provider to provide the training and then submits an invoice to the One-Stop Employment Center for payment for the value of the ITA based on the terms and conditions outlined in its contract with the county. Participating training provides must be approved by the NYSDOL and have and executed training provider contract with Westchester County.
Training must be with an Approved Eligible Training Provider.

Job-Seekers may also visit NYSDOL to see a list of approved providers and offerings available through Westchester/Putnam Workforce Investment Area.
Once the NYSDOL Web site opens:
1) Click on “Training Search” in the left menu.
2) From the drop down menu under “Search Training Course or Provider,” select either “Training Provider” or “Course Offering."
3) Click on the "Workforce Investment Area" radio button.
4) From the drop down menu. select “Westchester Balance/Putnam.”
5) Click on "Search."
